The Eibsee is, for me, one of the most beautiful locations in all of Bavaria: the water is turquoise-green, the mountain reflections are stunning, and there are secluded coves that seem made for photography. The Zugspitze and Partnachklamm gorge offer completely different moods.

Berchtesgaden and Königssee

Königssee with its crystal-clear emerald water and the St. Bartholomä monastery on the shore — lake, mountain forest, ancient monastery. This combination is photographically unique.

Mittenwald

A less touristy but strikingly beautiful mountain village with distinctive painted facades and views of the Karwendel range.
